ACG "Mystery Box" reveals Forever Red Cards

Andy of the Power Rangers Action Card Game (ACG) Facebook page asked fans if they wanted a sneak peak of a 'mystery box.' This mystery box just seems to be preview cards of the near future. He showed the bottom of two cards today that are not part of series 3. He has been showing Hope of Universe and San Diego Comic Con cards but this is neither. When asked if it was series 4, he just said the future.

I am trying to figure out where the act work comes from. The first card says to have Red Rangers from In Space, MM, Time Force, Turbo and Wild Force but fans says cards like that don't exist in Dice-O or Rangerstrike. Eddie Gallardo (@Egallardo36) says he spotted the Red Turbo Ranger belt to be from the Red Racer card above so the artwork could be from these of the Red Selection of Dice-O cards. But there is no Time Force nor Lost Galaxy but I think they put different card artwork together as one.

 On the 29th, this was posted. Red Alien Ranger falls under "Mighty Morphin."

Red Hawk (Jetman) at Toys R Us.com

I usually don't post new TRU website sightings but this is special since it is the first Super Sentai product that was never Power Rangers at any point to be at Toys R Us. Shinkenger Figuarts and ShinkenOh are now available at Toys R Us but this is different.

Lauren the female Red Ranger on cover of Super Samurai DVD

Volume 4 of Power Rangers Super Samurai will be released June 11th. I am happy Lauren, the female Red Ranger is on the cover of the box but one nitpick is that the Pink Ranger is not on the box, but go figure, it's not nothing to go crying to mama about.

Power Rangers in NYC and Good Morning America

UPDATED 2/11/13 9:30PM EST

 

 For those who do not know, it is Megaforce Monday and it was kicked off by having the five Megaforce Rangers doing moves and dancing on Good Morning America. I recorded it, tried uploading it to the computer but the disc failed. :( Costumed Rangers are in New York for the Toy Fair and there is a bus of 20 Red Rangers and there are indeed 20 Red Rangers inside, including the female Red Ranger.

Fans had to re-tweet to Power Rangers' Twitter account to win a 31" Red Megaforce Ranger.

7th Mystery Ranger unboxed - Lauren!

thunderzordpower of Rangerboard lives in the UK and grabbed 7th Mystery Ranger at Toymaster toy store. So the figure indeed is Lauren, if anyone else thought other wise.

 So as you may notice, she has the same kind of triangular skirt like the girl rangers and her helmet is smaller and tighter than Jayden.

Lauren/Female Red Samurai Ranger in Media

UPDATED 7/26/13

I covered the female Red Ranger's Japanese Counterpart Hime Shinken Red and her merchandise before. (http://henshingrid.blogspot.com/2010/09/female-shinken-red-in-merchandise.html) Now I am covering where Lauren has appeared in Power Rangers media or merchandise. Since she comes in late in the game, it is hard to have her in any merchandise. Though Saban has been able to sneak her in. Nick.com had video of Lauren leading the team.

For the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade 2012, Lauren appeared with the other 19 Red Rangers to complete the 20 Red Rangers!

 In February, Lauren joined the other Red Rangers on a bus in New York doing a tour around the city for a Twitter contest.

In the Nick.com game Power Rangers Samurai: Super Samurai, it has been upgraded with Lauren and Shogun mode.

Lauren has her special spinning attack like in the show but sometimes there are glitches.

 When you win her over with Super Mode, only Jayden appears in the big picture sequence with the villain. Also, when she morphs we see Jayden's hand and his ranger form before the game starts. Even in super mode, sometimes it glitches and shows Jayden's regular Samurai mode instead of Super.

And the elusive '7th Mystery Ranger' which showed up in the UK and still hasn't appeared in the US stores. Some were hoping she would turn up in the Megabloks line but unfortunately the way they designed the female figures, they have no skirts so there is no way to show off the female Red Ranger and also their chests are all the same.

Also in the Super Samurai X-Box Game, Lauren is mentioned in the credits, she might be an unlockable character. No pictures have been seen yet of this.

Lauren has two cards in the Guardians of Justice series (2) of the Power Rangers ACG.

She has one card in Hope of the Universe (Series 3).

Volume 4 of Power Rangers Super Samurai was released June 11th. She is on the cover and back of the DVD and in the menu and DVD disc but Pink Ranger has been omitted.

She has replaced the White Ranger on the cover of Trivial Pursuit and Monopoly.

Power Rangers Megaforce and 19 Red Rangers (Including LAUREN) at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

I saw it on NBC but I don't have HD so I missed a couple of them, including the female Red Samurai Ranger LAUREN! They didn't have the White Ranger, they replaced him with LAUREN! So awesome! They had even 20 Red Rangers.

 Took me a while but I did this. Let me now if I got any wrong. Zeo and Dino Thunder did a flip and switched places during the performance. I didn't personally see Mystic Force but I saw a red foot and arm moving around on the corner of the screen so it had to him.

 Eh, Robo Knight? Wow, he wasn't spotted on the televised version but apparently he was in the parade. This is a surprise they made a meet-and-greet version of the costume, he doesn't look too 'dumb down' but it doesn't look quite as bulky or shiny as the costume we know from the show.
